Nothing ends a late-night session faster than a headset that dies mid-match. Honestly, battery life and how the headset connects matter more day to day than any “pro-tuned” label. So that’s where we started.
We compared three wireless headsets from Logitech G and Razer on what the makers publish: connection options, rated battery life, drivers, mic and weight.
How we chose: research-based. We used the manufacturers’ product and spec pages (cited below). We have not physically tested these headsets. Battery and audio figures are the makers’ own ratings.
The short answer
- Longest rated battery: Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023), up to 70 hours, with 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2 [2].
- Most connection options: Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED, with LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm wired option [1].
- Lightest: Razer Barracuda X, 250 g, with USB-C 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2 and 3.5 mm [3].
- Our take: if you play mostly on a PC, a 2.4 GHz dongle is the connection to care about; Bluetooth is a nice extra for your phone. That’s our opinion, not a measurement.

Price tiers are relative to the products in this article. Each tier is based on the maker’s own US store listing, checked October 12, 2026 (ET). How to choose
| If you… | Consider |
|---|---|
| Want the longest time between charges | Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) |
| Switch between PC, phone and a wired source | Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED |
| Want something light that also works with a Switch | Razer Barracuda X |
Our take: charge habits matter more than the number on the box. A headset rated for 50 hours that you charge every weekend won’t die mid-match. (Opinion, not a test result.)
FAQ
Is the battery figure what I’ll get?
Not necessarily. None of the three pages says what settings the rated hours were measured at [1][2][3], so treat them as a guide for comparing, not a promise.
Can I use these with a console too?
Each maker lists its own platforms (see the table). For example, Logitech lists PS5 and PS4 for USB wireless stereo only [1], and Razer lists Nintendo Switch for the Barracuda X [3].
